Lemon Garlic Asparagus

Why Asparagus?

You will need:
1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Zest and juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving)
Procedure:
Preheat your oven to 200°C. In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, minced garlic, garlic, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until tender and slightly crispy. Remove from the oven and drizzle with fresh lemon juice before serving. For an extra touch, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
